My Five Favorite Dog Videos

Here's a few of my favorite doggie "click picks" from the net. Some will make you laugh, some will make your heart melt, and maybe some will make you shed a tear. But all of them are sure to please. Hope you enjoy!


Click #1: Puppy learns to go down the stairs
Warning: This is a heart melting awwww video. I remember when my dog was a puppy, she was deathly afraid of going down stairs. Many times we had to end of carrying her down till she finally got the hang of it.  If only she had a good teacher, like this puppy did. 



Click #2: Cheeky Whippets
 This is one of those jaw dropping, bad dog videos. Three bored dogs, home all day with too much energy = this video. Enjoy, and be glad this isn't you. My dog destroyed a few pairs of shoes, and a few sets of living room blinds (that story is for another post), but that is nothing compared to what these Whippets did. 



Click #3: Clever Dog Plays Catch With Himself
Jack Russel's are notorious for having way too much energy, and being incredibly smart.  So when I saw how this dog had figured out how to play ball by himself, I can't say I was that surprised. Entertained, but not surprised. Now if I could only teach my dog to do this. 




Click #4:  Heartwarming Greeting From A Rescue Dog
 The net is full of "dog greets owner" videos, and they are always enjoyable to watch. My dog is always happy to see me when I get home, but never THIS happy. 



Click #5: Didga's Great Escape
Dog -0, Cat- 1.  If you missed it the first time, don't worry, they replay it in slow mo. I have to give this clever cat props on this video. Enjoy. 



I know there are literally hundreds of dog videos I could have chosen, it was hard to pick just 5. Trust me, they'll be other posts, and more many videos to follow. My dog loves food. Especially food that is not in her food bowl. If I'm eating something, she wants it. She'll try anything. However, did you know that there are many common foods that we eat regularly that can be harmful, even toxic to your dog? Here's a quick list of some of them for you:  Chocolate- Okay, most of us know about this one, but I thought I'd better include it anyway. Dogs, just like humans often have a sweet tooth, but it's the caffeine and theobromine that can spell big trouble for dogs. Garlic and Onions: On top of stinky breath (no one wants a dog with garlic and onion breath!), these veggies are actually toxic for your dog. Apparently raw onions and garlic are even worse than cooked ones. Apparently it can take a few days to show its affects as well. The Best and Worst Moments of 2016 (according to my dog)

Now that 2017 is underway, I've had some time to reflect and think about all the good and not so good times over the past year. 2016 was an exciting year with many new changes, and it got me thinking: Do dogs reflect over their past experiences? Do dogs reminisce when they're older of "the good old days?"
