Dog Shaming. It's a Thing.....

DOG BLOG REVIEW:

So many dog blogs, not enough years (dog or human) to read them all. While perusing through the most popular dog blogs out there I came across a blog called: http://www.dogshaming.com/ I had to laugh. Dogshaming?  The term "shaming" has become one of those over-used buzzwords in  the last few years. Shaming is usually a term of abuse. According to Dictionary.com shaming is defined as: the painful feeling arising from the consciousness of  something dishonorable, improper, ridiculous, etc...done by oneself or another.

Well dogshaming is exactly what you might think it is, dogs that are shamed online because they have done something that their owner has deemed "bad" or "wrong". The owner then chooses to "punish" their dog by taking a picture of their pooch complete with a  sign of their "crime," and then submitting it to this blog site for comedic relief.
So when I came across this dogshaming site I had to see what it was all about (and so should you!) Okay so it's not the most intellectual site, it's not particularly insightful either, but what it is is good, clean, harmless fun. The creator of the site is pretty smart too, all the content comes from its blog followers. If you need a good laugh, and you've only  got five minutes to spare - this is a blog for you!

As simple as this blog is, there are a few cool features. There's the "Shame Showdown" which pits two dog shaming pics against one another, and you have to choose the best one. Good mindless entertainment! They also have a Facebook https://www.facebook.com/dogshamingcom, Twitter https://twitter.com/dogshaming, Pinterest https://www.pinterest.com/source/dog-shaming.com/, and Tumblr  http://dogshaming.tumblr.com/account as well (in case you just can't get enough). The content is constantly being updated as new dogshaming pictures are constantly being submitted. I mean come on, who wouldn't want their dog to have their fifteen minutes of dogshaming fame?

Here are a few pics from the site:
(Definitely wouldn't want to give any of these pups a kiss)(TMI Molly!)
Don't take my word for it, check out this blog yourself and happy dogshaming! Who knows, maybe my Roxy will make an appearance on the site someday...

  3. I really like the pictures, they are so adorable. I should make a picture like that with my youngest because she's always causing trouble.
